Welcome to the team Alyan, how do your previous work experiences set you up for what you’re doing at Opsani?

My previous work experience sets me up to be in a strong position at Opsani because I have worked with customers of all different sizes and backgrounds so I’m able to connect and build relationships with any of our customers. In addition to that, I come from a programming background so I have first-hand experience with the challenges that engineers are facing, especially when it comes to optimization.

Can you give a quick breakdown of your work at Opsani?

At Opsani, I’m responsible for heading our Customer Success department. My primary responsibilities revolve around managing customer relationships and ensuring we’re helping them reach their goals. Additionally, I’m also responsible for developing processes to ensure we’re as efficient as possible with our customers. 

Why are you interested in Opsani?

I’m interested in Opsani because it’s a unique product with a bright future. The work we do has a lot of value that can be provided to customers of all types. On top of that, the team here is wonderful. Everyone is smart, kind, and helpful so it creates an enjoyable working environment!

What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?

The best advice I’ve ever been given is to persevere no matter what. There’s a lot of things that can go wrong both at work and in life and the best way to move forward is to persevere and not let it get you down. This is extremely helpful in my line of work because there’s a lot of unpredictability with where things are headed so in the end, persevering through the hard times is practically a requirement.

 What’s your favorite activity to do when you’re not working?

My favorite activity while I’m not working is golfing. No matter how terrible I am every time I go, it’s always the place where I have the most fun.
