Opsani Ignite to Analyze Kubernetes-Orchestrated Applications and Identify Optimization Opportunities
New open-source tool to help organizations properly configure existing resources
Redwood City, Calif. – October 28, 2021 – Opsani announced today Opsani Ignite, a new open-source tool used to identify Kubernetes applications that are running inefficiently or present reliability risks. With Opsani Ignite, organizations can now analyze all of their Kubernetes-orchestrated applications and identify optimization opportunities by processing metrics data from their existing Prometheus monitoring system.
Opsani Ignite combs through metrics data to evaluate pod efficiency and reliability risk. After an initial analysis, it displays optimization opportunities on its console and enables the operator to make decisions on how to address potential violations of best practices. If the operator chooses, Opsani can then onboard the applications with its Continuous Optimization as a Service platform for higher resilience, better performance, and lower cost.
“When promoting applications to production, it’s critical that best practices are observed for application success, and that organizations know how to optimize,” said Peter Nickolov, CTO and co-founder of Opsani. “That is why we decided to offer this open-source tool free of charge. We know that organizations will see improvements right away, allowing them to adapt and enhance their existing processes. Kubernetes customers should take advantage of this valuable tool to ensure that their deployments’ resources are properly configured.”
There are three phases for the Opsani Ignite tool: discovery, analysis and recommendation. First, Ignite discovers all applications running on the Kubernetes cluster using the Prometheus monitoring system. Ignite analyzes each application looking at the technical makeup of the components to uncover specific omissions of best practices for reliable production deployments. It also determines whether the application is using excessive resources resulting in a higher than necessary cloud spend. Ignite then produces a set of actionable recommendations for improving the efficiency, performance and reliability of the application. Opsani Ignite can be downloaded and used free of charge at https://github.com/opsani/opsani-ignite.

Opsani Joins the AppDynamics Integration Partner Program
Customers to Benefit from Autonomous Application Performance Management
Redwood City, Calif.– June 23, 2021 — Opsani, a leading provider of AI-driven optimization for cloud applications, announced today that the company has joined the AppDynamics Integration Partner Program (IPP) designed to empower companies with complementary technologies to integrate with the AppDynamics platform for the benefit of mutual customers and prospects. Thanks to its AI capabilities, Opsani autonomously remediates system performance challenges in real-time with AppDynamics metrics.
AppDynamics, a Cisco company, is a leader in the Application Performance Monitoring space, with a set of unique capabilities for monitoring application health and key metrics. To help customers get the most out of the joint solution, Opsani has built a value-added connector for pulling key metrics from the AppDynamics Application Performance Monitoring (APM) platform.
“We are welcoming Opsani to our IPP network to help us increase application reliability, enhance services performance, and lower operational costs for our customers,” said Bill Harper, senior technical manager, AppDynamics Integration Partner Program. “Opsani utilizes AppDynamics APIs to pull key business transaction metrics for applications and then uses them to optimize customers’ key cloud applications and business transactions. Opsani fits very well into the AppDynamics Business Observability Platform by providing optimization for production applications at run-time.”
“We are looking forward to working with AppDynamics and taking advantage of their IPP opportunities,” stated Amir Sharif, VP of product and strategy at Opsani. “The APM market can now benefit from cloud-native capabilities. APM does a great job monitoring critical apps and functions, but needs AI to be able to use those findings to remediate service issues at machine speed. Opsani solves that problem and customers are now able to take advantage of true autonomous Application Performance Management capabilities. With Opsani, services get the right resource allocation for their load profile and enterprises avoid lost revenue caused by software errors and time outs.”
The companies are planning joint go-to-market activities, including an upcoming joint webinar led by Liam Rogers, research analyst at S&P Global. More information such as white papers, data sheets and demonstrations of the joint solution can be found at http://www.opsani.com/partners/appdynamics/.

Opsani to Offer One-Year Free Cloud Optimization Subscription to Healthcare Organizations and First Responders
Organizations to take advantage of continuous optimization as a service to improve application performance and lower cloud bills.
Redwood City, Calif.– April 7, 2021 — Opsani, a leading provider of AI-driven optimization for cloud applications, announced today a special program designed to benefit healthcare organizations and first responders. The company is offering a one-year free subscription to the Opsani cloud optimization service in an effort to help those fighting against COVID lower their cloud bills and make the patient experience easier and more reliable. Opsani uses AI to automatically adjust resources and parameters across the full application stack to continuously maximize efficiency and deliver a better customer experience.
“We know that many healthcare organizations, as well as first responders and medical research groups are dependent on cloud applications, which are often very transactional and at a higher risk of crashing because of the ongoing increased traffic,” said Patrick Conte, chief commercial officer at Opsani. “That is where Opsani comes in, helping organizations improve app performance, lower cloud cost and deliver a more reliable application experience to users. If you work in an organization dealing with people trying to schedule treatments, vaccinations and other appointments, you need Opsani.”
With the ongoing need for COVID vaccinations and treatments during these challenging times, cloud applications often experience significant increases in traffic, which affect application performance and reliability. The Opsani software upholds HIPAA standards, offering healthcare organizations the best app performance and highest reliability at the lowest cost. Opsani uses AI and machine learning to tune all of the key elements of cloud apps simultaneously. Opsani’s Continuous Optimization as a Service (COaaS) is being used today by leading companies in highly regulated industries.
